Rob was 8-2, 2.87 at Pacific University this spring, with 54 strikeouts in 78.1 innings. He was a first-team Northwest Conference all-star.
Rob was the Northwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 27-March 4. He defeated No. 2 Linfield 7-1 and allowed just three hits over the first six innings. He also won the award two other times.
Rob was the 2011 Northwest Conference Pitcher of the Year. He was 8-3 with a 2.26 ERA in 11 starts, with a NWC-best 66 strikeouts in a school-record 87.2 innings. He had one shutout and five complete games.
Dittrick’s eight wins were the second-most in school history. He tied former Knight Brian Ranta of George Fox for the most wins in the NWC; the tied for ninth nationally in Division III.
He was 1-4 with a 10.57 ERA in 11 games as a freshman in 2010, with 21 strikeouts in 30.2 innings.
