Schultz, a Lakewood, Calif. native, was an accomplished two-sport athlete in high school. Not only was he named first team All-League three consecutive years for his work on the diamond, he was named league MVP as a quarterback at Lakewood High School.
2012 (Fr., San Francisco): Hit .143 with 1 RBI in limited action (19 games) for the Dons. Fielded perfect (1.000) at catcher for USF with 51 putouts and 6 assists.
High School: Two sport athlete (football and baseball)... Named to Dream Team in both football and baseball. Voted league MVP in football... Named First-Team All-League in baseball for three consecutive years... Made Honor Roll every year.
